Clermont County- the place to EAT
We are celebrating National Travel and Tourism Week in Clermont County and we believe there are many reasons to travel to Clermont County. Our attractions are top of the line, we are full of excellent outdoor activities and we have a ton of events each year that will keep the family busy. What a lot of people leave out when thinking about their travels, is arguably the best part, the FOOD!
Skip the boring stuff and try something new. You can pull through the Starbucks and McDonald’s drive thru anywhere, but in Clermont County you will want to experience the local options, and we have plenty of them for you. Our county stretches from the Ohio River all the way up to sweetheart of Loveland and there are ample amounts of dining options between the two for you to choose.
We will first start at the Ohio River in New Richmond, Ohio. Have you ever heard of the Front Street Café? It will be worth your time to pay a visit. Enjoy a delicious meal as you watch the Ohio River pass by right in front of you. The Front Street Café offers wine tastings, live music, made from scratch gourmet plates and dessert to die for. This café creates a fun, warm and inviting atmosphere that you just can’t get anywhere else. Sounds like the perfect date night to us!
Now, moving to the top of the county, Loveland, also known as the sweetheart of Ohio, is packed full of local diners and shops that will make you fall in love the moment you walk into their doors. Not to mention, downtown Loveland is along the Loveland/Little Miami bike trail and is a convenient stop for lunch along the way.
There are many restaurants in Loveland to choose from but The Works has always been a fan favorite. The Works is a laid-back choice for brick over pizza, calzones, and sandwiches and includes a long list of beers and wines to choose from. While the food is always important, the location of this restaurant always leads to a good story. The Works operates inside a 1905 landmark which originally served as a water filling station for steam locomotives and later went on to serve as a firehouse and public works for the city of Loveland. You are eating in the history of Loveland. Live music and a family friendly environment will create the perfect setting for your next meal.
