Clermont County- the place to ENJOY
As we wrap up our week long celebration we reflect on the reasons why Clermont County is loved by residents and visitors alike. We have been able to cover the attractions that keep us busy, the food that keeps us satisfied and the nature that keeps us sane. Last, but certainly not least, we feel we need to highlight one of the most important aspects of travel and tourism, hospitality and excellent customer service.
We know that traveling should be fun but at times can certainly be stressful. Every guest deserves to feel like they are at home and treated with excellent customer service. In Clermont County we can offer a lot of things, but we are most proud of our hospitality.
Hospitality can come in many forms and offered in a variety of ways whether it’s the front desk agent at a hotel, the server at a restaurant or a tourism ambassador at a local park. We all want to have great experiences when traveling and we want you to have a great experience when visiting Clermont County.
The National Travel and Tourism Week’s theme this year is the “Faces of Travel” and while we are fortunate to have hundreds of employees in the hospitality industry in Clermont County, we feel we have found two specific employees that stand out above the rest, and this is the perfect week to do so.
Everyone, meet Allie and Josh! Allie and Josh both work at the Holiday Inn- Eastgate and both were recognized this year as ROSE award candidates. ROSE awards is a celebration throughout the entire Cincinnati region which spotlights the front line hospitality in our area. It takes a lot of work to be recognized and considered as a ROSE award candidate and we are lucky to have them in Clermont County.
Here are a few comments that visitors, like yourself, have said about Allie.
“The front desk staff were great, Allie was extremely perky, happy! She was able to help my wife with an extra room key when she licked herself out while I was at the Indy 500 with the other keys.”
“I had called to talk to Allie initially because we had reservation at another IHG hotel, but she was so helpful and friendly that we switched to this hotel. She was great in person and gave us a great room.”
Here are a few comments that visitors, like yourself, have said about Josh.
“Josh at the bar made you feel like you were sitting in your own hometown bar!”
“Josh is the one who always gave us good service and were able to answer questions that we had. They knew exactly what we wanted to drink and brought out our food in a timely manner.”
We recognized that there are hundreds of employees out there like Allie and Josh that help make Clermont County a better place to play, eat, stay but most importantly, visit. We hope you’ll visit us soon and experience hospitality like you’ve never experienced before!
