Harmony Hill Vineyards: Where Choice Music, Happy Company, and Exceptional Wine Meet
When first experiencing the splendor of a deep blue, cloudless sky over the proud rows of robust, fully fruited grape vines of Bethel’s Harmony Hill Vineyards, a deep-seated, human appreciation for beauty is finally understood. Everyone who visits this premier Ohio winery becomes enchanted by the smell of crushed grapes, the tang that resonates in the air from the winery’s fermentation process and the scent of that morning’s freshly cut grass.
The Barn at Harmony Hill Vineyards
At the center of it all is Harmony Hill’s beautiful, cream-colored clapboard barn, which has found itself to be — after years of serving as the home of the Harmony Hill Vineyard family’s two beloved Quarter Horses — a small, yet industry-focused commercial winery.
Since 2003, Harmony Hill Vineyards has been churning out approximately 3,000 gallons, which is an equivalent of 1,200 cases of wine per year. The concentrated staff at Harmony Hill performs each step in the wine-making process by hand, ensuring the careful attentiveness that is required for quality, full-formed wine.
Fun in the Sun and a Glass of Wine to Boot
The way to truly enjoy yourself during a visit to Harmony Hill Vineyards and Winery is to bring a few close friends, or a romantic partner, and experience some fine wine tasting and listen to the sounds of the best local music around. After making your rounds inside the Harmony Hill winery and back out with your refreshment of choice, you may find yourself immersed in the sounds of folk, blues, or rock music.
The only thing to do next is to lay your blanket down and enjoy the melodic voices of Monte Swinford, a local singer/songwriter, or the well-known Tracy Walker, who came directly from Cincinnati’s eclectic music scene and now tours nationally. These two performers only scratch the surface of what Harmony Hills Vineyards has in store for their upcoming season visitors, lasting full into the Ohio summer.
Other performers include:
- Tim Snyder
- Clark Jenkins Trio
- Meridian, a female singing duo
- Bill Bynum and Company
Harmony Hill is booked to the end of June, which gives you an idea of how popular of a destination is for the Spring and Summer Ohio months. Don’t delay your chance to experience the inspiration through song, dance, and amazingly tasteful wine!
