About Joe’s Pizza Napoli
Joe’s Pizza Napoli was inspired by the city of Naples, Italy where the first ever pizzeria opened. It was called Antica Pizzeria Port’ Alba and opened in 1830 and still exists today! The ‘Napoli’ in Joe’s Pizza’s name was derived from the Italian word for Naples, the birthplace of pizza!
The Story Behind the Pizza
With so many different pizza “styles” in the US like New York, Chicago, Detroit, California, etc. Joe’s Pizza decided to move outside of the country and serve up Neapolitan! Their number one reason? There is no place to hide! No mountain of cheese to cover ingredients, no thick crust to fight through, just fresh, high quality ingredients combined with wood fire to give the finished product a unique, authentic taste. And the best part is everything is prepared fresh daily, no freezer and no microwave!
***Crowd Favorite: The Polpette and the Lasagna
The Polpette is made with hand crushed San Marzano Tomatoes, house made meatball, sauté onion, fresh mozzarella, ricotta, Parmigiano-Reggiano, and extra virgin olive oil
The Lasagna is made with house made gen four sauce, house made meatballs, Italian sausage fresh mozzarella, ricotta, mozzarella-provolone blend and a Parmesan-Peornio Romana Blend

Meatballs, Marinara, Mt. Vesuvius and More!
Looking for something other than pizza? Joe’s family has been making house-made meatballs and marinara sauce that has been passed down for four generations! The original recipe is traced back to the city of Cutro in the Calabrian region of Italy.
***Crowd Favorite Meatball Bread Bowl aka “The Tommy”
The Tommy is made with house-made gen 4 sauce, house-made meatballs, Mozzarella-Provolone blend, Parmesan-Pecorino Romano blend, and served in a fresh wood-fired bread bowl
Curious about Joe’s logo? Mt Vesuvius was chosen as a center point in their logo and brand, even the wood fire oven is represented as the shape of the volcano. Mt. Vesuvius was picked due to it being the volcano that eclipses Naples, Italy, the city that inspired the ingredients that provide Joe’s Pizza Napoli with its unique taste and characteristics.
