RiverDays Fest with its Cardboard Boat Regatta and RiverArts Festival, fireworks, food trucks, crafters, Ohio River Fireworks, helicopter rides and much more takes place August 6,7 and 8.
Each day includes live entertainment, food trucks, crafters and artists, helicopter rides, gaming and more
Things kick off at 6 pm on Friday with music by Elaine Diehl and Boutique (formerly Elaine and the Biscane’s) classic rock, followed by Steve Bonafel and One Iota (country and bluegrass music)
Saturday things get rolling at noon with oh so much fun with the Cardboard Boat Regatta beginning at 1 pm. Things kick in high gear with live music beginning at 6 pm with Mad Costanza performing music from the 1980’s. At 9 pm classic rock including heavy metal by Bad Boy Troy takes the stage. He and his band will be joined by Dave Evans, original lead singer of AC DC till fireworks over the Ohio begin at 10 pm. Bad Boy Troy will return to the stage after the fireworks and rock things out till midnight.
Things chill down on Sunday when the RiverArts Festival takes place. This juried art event takes place from noon till 6 pm with well known music artist Tracy Walker taking the stage from 1 pm till 3 pm.
A fun addition to the Sunday event will be The New Richmond Stampede, when New Richmond business owners in inflated costumes will hold a foot race on the riverbank for bragging rights as “best on the beach.”
RiverDays Festivals have been held each year with the exception of 2020 for 50 years. It is a family focused affair held on New Richmond’s historic and picturesque riverfront.
