Sometimes the venue is just as important as the menu. Check out these delightful eateries with bonus backgrounds offering beautiful scenery while you dine!

Bishop’s Quarter in Loveland offers three levels of indoor and outdoor bar space. Take your pick from their extensive bourbon list, then find a seat on the third- floor patio with views of historic downtown Loveland, the Little Miami River and the bike path.

Elevate your meal to new heights at Cincinnati Distilling in downtown Milford. Explore the lovingly renovated 1816 property then head upstairs to their Cooper Island Rum Rooftop Bar for sweeping views of the area and a menu of classic American fare done right.

In New Richmond, Green Kayak offers views of the Ohio River from a historical building dating back to the 1850s.  Kick back with their pub menu, enjoy great live music- maybe even play some beach volleyball.

It’s the best of both worlds at Bean and Brew next to the East Fork Little Miami River in Batavia. Visit the adorable corner space early for a latte and a breakfast sandwich, then return later for ales produced by Sons of Toil Brewing.

Little Miami Brewing Company is an expansive Milford brewpub that offers up house-made beers, tacos and pizzas for your enjoyment on their two-level patio facing the scenic Little Miami River. Try the Cherry Creek wheat ale or Gila Monster double IPA.

Watch the riverboats streaming down the Ohio River outside Front Street Café in New Richmond. The bright and cozy café features a small patio where you can sip coffee, taste local beers, sample the bistro menu or savor a dessert.

Start your morning at New Richmond’s Wholy Beans Coffee House, a coffee shop and roastery on the riverfront. Relax with an Americano or a breakfast sandwich or taste a smoothie and chicken salad sandwich before you hit up nearby Haussermann Park.

Miamiville Trailyard sits alongside the Little Miami Scenic Trail, so you could hike or bike your way to excellent al fresco dining. The trailyard’s beautiful patios with picnic tables and firepits offer the ideal setting for hearty beers and burgers.

Likewise, Ramsey’s Trailside in Loveland sidles up next to the scenic trail and features two stories of patios for great people-watching. Their menu covers all your favorites: tacos, brisket sandwiches, Bavarian pretzels, fajita bowls and baby back ribs.
