Fall Festivals in Clermont County - Ohio Goes to the Fair

Aug. 20 2026

The Clermont County Fair may be over, but the festival season is just getting started.

As part of America 250’s Ohio Goes to the Fair theme, August is a chance to celebrate what makes Ohio fairs special: good food, local traditions, live entertainment, agriculture, art, and, most importantly, a reason to get out and explore.

That spirit continues throughout the fall. From a German-inspired festival in downtown Loveland to an outdoor art market in Milford and a self-guided tour of local farms and food producers, there are plenty of ways to experience Clermont County beyond the fairgrounds.

Here are three Discover Clermont-approved ways to keep the fair spirit going this fall:

Oktoberfest Loveland

Friday, September 25 – Saturday, September 26, 2026

Head to downtown Loveland for Oktoberfest Loveland, a two-day celebration featuring German-inspired food and drinks, live music and plenty of festive atmosphere.

The festival takes place at 126 S. Karl Brown Way, with hours from 4–10 p.m. Friday and noon–10 p.m. Saturday.

Our plan: Arrive early and start your evening exploring downtown Loveland. Grab dinner at Bishops Quarter (Pro Tip: Make sure you get a reservation early to beat the rush), browse the local shops like Lemons & Limes Boutique, and take a walk along the Little Miami River before heading to Oktoberfest.

Once you’re at the festival, settle in for live music, grab a snack, and enjoy a German-style drink as the evening gets underway.

With everything happening within walking distance, Oktoberfest is an easy excuse to turn one festival into an entire evening in downtown Loveland.

Make it a weekend: Stay overnight at a Clermont County hotel and spend the weekend exploring more of Loveland and the surrounding areas.

Milford Art Affaire

Saturday, September 26, 2026, | 11 a.m.–5 p.m. | Downtown Milford

Spend a Saturday surrounded by art at the Milford Art Affaire, where artists and makers fill the streets of downtown Milford with original work, handmade goods, and creative displays.

The free event features artists working in mediums including painting, photography, sculpture, jewelry, glass, fiber, ceramics, and wood.

Our plan: Start your morning in downtown Milford with coffee at Forager Coffee + Tea, then make your way through the Art Affaire as the event gets underway. Take your time browsing the artists’ booths, talking with the creators, and looking for something unique to bring home.

Once you’ve seen the artwork, don’t pack up and leave just yet. Grab dinner downtown at Nation Kitchen & Bar Milford, browse Milford’s local shops like The Bookmatters, or take a walk along the Little Miami River.

Make it a full day: Pair the Art Affaire with an afternoon of browsing local shops and make sure to grab a sweet treat to wrap up your day at the Old Milford Parlor.

Food & Farm Tour

Saturday, September 26th

The fair may be the biggest celebration of agriculture on the county calendar, but you can experience Clermont County’s farms and food producers throughout the year.

The Clermont County Food & Farm Tour offers visitors a chance to explore local farms and food businesses, meet producers, and learn more about where the food we eat comes from. The self-guided format lets you choose which stops you want to visit and create your own route.

This year's tour will include stops ranging from maple syrup collecting at Tapwood Maple Syrup, to pastured beef, pork, chicken and lamb at Flourish and Roam, giving visitors a look at the variety of agriculture happening throughout Clermont County. Check out the Food and Farm Tour page to see all the participating farms and plan your tour today!

Our plan: Pick a few stops that interest you and turn them into a countryside road trip. Give yourself plenty of time at each location to talk with the producers, explore the farm, and pick up something local to take home.

Then, make a stop for lunch or dinner along the way and take your time back. Part of the experience is seeing the smaller communities, farmland and scenic roads that make up Clermont County.

The fair may be over, but the season of gathering, exploring and celebrating local traditions is far from finished.

Our recommendation? Pick an event, build a day around it, and explore a little more while you’re here. Stay for dinner after Oktoberfest. Browse downtown Milford after the Art Affaire. Turn a Food & Farm Tour stop into a countryside road trip.

There’s always more to discover just beyond the main event.
