The forests, streams, and meadows found throughout the Cincinnati Nature Center offer a glimpse of the landscape that early settlers would have encountered when arriving in southwestern Ohio. Spanning more than 1,800 acres, the preserve protects native habitats and provides visitors with opportunities to experience the region’s natural beauty as it appeared generations ago.

Visitors can spend the day kayaking on the lake, hiking wooded trails, testing their skills on the park’s scenic disc golf course, or fishing in the calm waters surrounded by nature.

As evening falls, the park offers one of the area’s most memorable stargazing experiences. For much of American history, the night sky served as a guide for travelers, explorers, and settlers navigating new and unfamiliar landscapes. Away from the bright lights of Downtown Cincinnati, visitors at Stonelick can enjoy the same constellations that have offered guidance to generations before them.
