The Clermont County Convention and Visitors Bureau is proud to announce that it has successfully secured the bid to host the 2028 Big Ten Women’s Rowing Championship on Harsha Lake at East Fork State Park. Taking place May 13-14, 2028, the championship will bring the conference’s top rowing programs to Clermont County to compete for the conference title.
The event will feature 11 teams and approximately 550 student-athletes. Coaches, support staff, family members and spectators will also travel to the region, generating an estimated 1,200 hotel room nights. Overall, the championship weekend is projected to have an economic impact of approximately $770,000, providing a significant boost to Clermont County hotels, restaurants, retailers and other businesses.

We look forward to welcoming the Big Ten’s outstanding student-athletes, coaches, and fans to Clermont County.”
East Fork State Park has a long-standing reputation as a premier destination for rowing and paddlesports, regularly hosting conference championships, national championships, and collegiate regattas. The venue has served as the site of the 2024 NCAA Women’s Rowing National Championships, the 2023 USRowing National Championships, and the ACA Canoe & Kayak National Championships in both 2022 and 2026. The venue’s championship- caliber course and strong community support, has positioned Clermont County as a preferred destination for competitive water sports.
