The Ohio Association of Convention and Visitor Bureaus (OACVB) had their November meeting and executive committee elections at Fado Irish Pub and Restaurant in Dublin, Ohio on Friday, November 15th.
Jeff Blom, President of OACVB for 2024, presided over the meeting and elections. Short term rental regulation and legislation was discussed at length with much progress made by the organization over the course of the year.
“We have made significant progress on our most important initiative regarding STRs. Many of our member have been involved and continue to be involved with this issue that is affecting the tourism industry in Ohio. I look forward to serving as Past President next year and seeing the introduction of a bill to our Ohio Legislators,” stated Jeff Blom.
A special guest that attended the November meeting was Sarah Wickham, State Tourism Director for Tourism for Ohio.
