Log Cabin Heritage Center

The Cook Log Cabin Heritage Center is open for group tours by appointment and for special events. Originally built in 1803, the log cabin was eventually the home of the Cook family for over 100 years. The former Cook Farm, now called the Cook Log Cabin Heritage Center, is also home to our 19th century replica timber frame blacksmith shop and the GTHS School of Blacksmithing. The school offers a variety of classes for all experience levels, with the mission to preserve and promote blacksmithing and metal arts to new generations.
